In loving memory of Ruth Mary Harding who sadly passed away on 12th January 2016
Ruth was the eldest daughter of Phyllis and Raymond Thomas. She was born in Kingswood Bristol and lived all her childhood years in the Bristol area.
In the early 70's she joined the Wiltshire Constabulary as a Cadet and later as a Policewoman. It was here that she met Trevor who she married in 1975. For the early years of the marriage they lived in Chippenham, where both Robert & Sarah were born. From 1983 they lived in Swindon.
With the imminent birth of Robert she left the Police and subsequently raised both children. In the late 80's Ruth worked at Windmill School, and then as a teaching assistant at Kingsdown School until her retirement in 2013.
Ruth was blessed to have four grandchildren, Ewan, Lottie, Abi and Thomas, with the latest Thomas being born 3 weeks before she passed away.
