My mother is in Yorkhouse Carehome. Jess was great fun with a fantastic sense of humour. You could wind her up,she gave it all back to you funny. She will be sadly missed.

On 30th August 2025, aged 84 years, Jessie passed away whilst being cared for by the lovely staff of York House Care Home, she sadly lost her husband Tom on 28th May 2024. They were very much loved by the whole family.
Jessie’s funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 24th September 2025 at 2pm. Family and friends are all most welcome, donations in her memory may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of York House Care Home.
