I still can’t believe you’re gone. For 16 years you’ve been such a special part of my life — a friend who felt more like family. Even if we didn’t talk every day, every time we caught up it was like no time had passed at all.

Mon, you had the most beautiful soul — kind, bubbly, and full of life. You could light up any room just by walking into it. You made people laugh, you made people feel seen, and you had a way of making everyone feel special.

I am so heartbroken and shattered by your loss, but I’m also so grateful for the years I got to share with you, for the memories we created, and for the love you gave so freely.

You will always hold a place in my heart, Mon. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
