David was a kind, generous, entertaining and thoughtful man.It was a pleasure to have the privilege of being his friend. He is joining quite a gathering of our old friends and loved ones in this most significantly tragic of years.

  • Sad to have missed David’s Funeral but I would like to say what a lovely man he was. Spent many hours chatting with him from business to football an avid Leeds United fan like myself. You will be long remembered David. My deepest sympathies to his family. Love and best wishes for the future. Colin Hendrick Ward

Dave was always one of the good guys and always the calm voice of reason. When I started playing for the Nelson at the age of 15 , he was a very protective teammate and has always been a top bloke and a gentleman. Rest in peace Dave . 🩵
