In loving memory of Merilyn Hart 'Mel' who sadly passed away on 17th August 2025.
It is with broken hearts that we have to announce that our beautiful Mum Merilyn Mel Hart fell asleep forever yesterday after a battle with encephalitis and cancer. Mums the bravest woman we know, after being so poorly and loosing her beloved husband she battled on to stay with us as long as she could.
Mum passed away at home holding Dads picture with her daughters, granddaughter’s and son in law by her side just as she wanted to.
Our family are utterly devastated, it has been an horrendous 18 months watching the people you love the most in the world be so poorly. I honestly do not know how we got through it.
Mum, you wasn’t just our Mum you was our friend, our drinking partner, our dance floor queen. Our memories are full of love and laughter and I honestly don’t think we will ever get used to you not being here. I know you will live in our hearts but it not the same. I’m sure your with Dad now having a drink and a dance.
Mum was one of 4 children, Michael (sadly gone), David and Simon. Me and Tan want to thank Simon Ward and David Parry for the support you have given us.
