It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosanna ‘Rose’ Dowling, a beautiful Mum, Nan and Great Grandmother.
Rose passed away suddenly but peacefully on the 13th August 2025 at Dawson Lodge surrounded by her loving family and wonderful carers after a 9 year journey with Alzheimer’s disease.
Rose touched the lives of all that knew her which is testament of the loving, caring, kind, strong, resilient person she was.
She will be so greatly missed by all.
May she finally Rest in Peace.

Dear Lorraine and family. I’m going to miss your mum Rosie at Dawson Lodge. I will always remember giving her a bath on a Monday afternoon. And always having a nice chat with Lorraine about the family. And meeting Amy and the children at the summer party we had last year and always supporting rose with meals. And her Irish giggle. Amazing smile also her pretty clothes Lorraine would lay out in her room. I still can’t believe she’s gone rest in peace Irish lady you were a pleasure to look after and have a Guinness for me love Kathy xx
