It with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Joyce Margaret Adams on 9th August at Birchwood Heights Care Home. Joyce was 97 years old and passed away peacefully in her sleep
Joyce was the youngest of 6 with 2 brothers and 3 sisters and her extensive family meant a great deal.
Joyce Mills married Edward Adams in 1950 and they had 2 Children. David and Beverley.
Sadly Eddie passed away in 1996 and both David and Beverley died before their mother
Joyce loved ballroom dancing and continued until 2016 when she fell and broke her shoulder
One of her other loves was Frank Sinatra.
Joyce moved to Borough Green in 2019 to be nearer to Beverley.
Unfortunately in recent years she had a number of periods in hospital and had several falls that made her accept that she required support at home and then in April this year a move to Birchwood Heights Care Home.
She loved having visits from family and friends, both at Roman Court and in the Care Home
She was a strong independent lady who took great care of her appearance and who had a great love of her family.
She may have had physical failings but was strong minded and,knew exactly what she wanted and when she wanted it.
She will be missed by everyone she touched in her long life

To dear Aunty Joycie such a lovely person inside and out. How she loved her family grapevine of messages passing through the family to keep in touch with them. What a joy she was to talk to and meet up with. She will be sorely missed for her bright, cheerful and loving ways
