In loving memory of Michael Anthony Fidler who sadly passed away on 7th August 2025. It’s just too difficult to write too much. Mike simply loved life and his many holidays with long-standing friends and family. He throughly enjoyed his sailing, and took an active part in the Phoenix Yacht Club. Yearly, he cycled in France, with his university friends enjoying the wine and sampling the regions delights. Skiing was another yearly delight. Mike had his priorities right and always said yes to a holiday when the opportunity arose. Sadly this year was plagued with health problems and I am so proud he asked me to be his wife. It’s difficult to come to terms of his passing, life seems so unfair. He was a gentle, kind and considerate man. I am so grateful for the time we have shared.

Ahhh - this was the extremely expensive whisky sample I think. If I remember rightly the wind dropped the next day.., a lovely sail x
