It is with great sadness that we announce our father’s peaceful death on Thursday, 10th July.
Much loved and treasured by his family, he will be remembered especially for his wit, his wisdom and his friendship. We have lost a lion of a man, a man who thought deeply, felt deeply and loved deeply.
His heart will continue to beat in ours.
The funeral arrangements are as detailed above and you are most warmly invited to join the family afterwards at Archie’s club, Reigate Heath Golf Club, where the piper will welcome us as we gather to share memories of our Dad and reminisce about how much he meant to us all. Details also shown above. Please RSVP to assist us in making arrangements.

From all of us at Cooden Beach Golf Club, where Archie spent many a happy day wandering around the course, playing snooker and organising Burns Nights. He will be missed for his insight and wisdom. as he always said " every pint of Guiness contributed to his pension fund" a lovely man

So sad to say that Archie’s dog Ailie, who we adopted when Archie & Marjorie moved from Sussex, also died yesterday. She was a loyal and loving soul who adored Archie but who was more than happy to adapt to life with us, and often visited Archie & Marjorie in the care home where she always received lots of attention and love. Heather x
