Funeral Director
In loving memory of our mum, Helen Mary Fletcher who sadly passed away on 21st July 2025.
We are asking for immediate family flowers only at the funeral, in lieu of these we are asking for donations to the Hospice who looked after Mum so well not only in her final days but for the last two years, or the Norwood and Brixton Foodbank (shows as Oasis Hub- Waterloo) where Mum volunteered for many years alongside her friend Liz, as well as many others.
Please share your favourite photo or memory of Mum below.
Details of the funeral are on the right, we would love anyone who would like to, to join us to celebrate Mum's life at The Chancery 90 Bromley Rd, Beckenham BR3 5NP after the service.
Thank you for remembering Mum

Fond memories!
I can’t think of anything Helen wasn’t interested in and knowledgeable about! Flowers, birds, artists, literature and, of course, current affairs and education. Here she is making sketches in the wonderful Barbara Hepworth garden in St Ives.

I love this photo of Helen. It was taken in Chennai while she was volunteering at the Bateman's Trust Hostel and I think it shows the connection she made with the young people through her literacy work and her music.
Helen in Yorkshire in 1993
One of my favourite things to do with Helen every time she came over was to play a game. In this we are palying Quirkle - one of our favourites. I think she bought it for us. She was very competitive but we always had so much fun.
On the beach at Aldeburgh: Helen & her dear mother & father, Grizelle & Noel, brother George, Helen’s Uncle Paddy and her baby cousins! A typical early 60’s Summer photo at the seaside!
In 2019 Helen kindly agreed to pose for photos - and let me give her the Warhol treatment afterwards. It seemed to suit her vibrant and creative spirit.
NYE 2021, a really lovely evening with Helen and we were left under no illusions as to her feelings about the honours system! Our whole family will miss her. Sending all of you our love XX
