In loving memory of Gwen Joy Walsh who sadly passed away on 13th May 2025. As many will know she was in one of her favourite places in the world, the Caribbean sea, in Jamaica.
We will be having a funeral service at St Francis Of Assisi, Stratford on 18th August at 12.15pm followed by a reception at The Jack Carter Pavilion in Fairlop to celebrate the fabulous life of Gwen Joy Mickey. Please can we ask that you confirm your intention to attend/not attend via the tab below or by messaging Denise on 07942981973
Attire for the day is any items of clothing that bring you "Joy", big floppy hats optional.
There will be a private cremation the following morning. As such there is no obligation for floral tributes and if wished, more appropriate to make a small donation to one of the chatirities listed above.

We are unable to attend Joy’s funeral Mass but have had a Mass said in her memory. We were in the same class at St Bernard’s School from 1958 to 1963 and have kept in touch since then. Remembering Joy with happy memories. RIP

I have great memories of Joy with her infectious laugh and enthusiasm. She went on trips with me to Scotland and Paris and it was fun! When she came to Orlando it was off to the Outlet malls and oh the walking! And her 70th in Negril! Thanks for the memories Joy!! Rest in peace 🌹🌹
