I would like to pay tribute to a great woman, Jean Mary Fullagar—mother to my amazing wife and grandmother to my amazing daughters. She welcomed me into her family without hesitation and truly made **me** feel a genuine part of it. Every part of my life now has an element of Jean in it, as she influenced our lives in the most positive way with love and affection. Rest in peace, Jean; I will miss our spirited political debates. She could have been a Trini because, like us, she knew that family isn’t just about blood.
