Anna Henshaw, born in Ukraine 18.11.1924. One of three sisters and 5 brothers. All separated during the conflict of the second world war.
Widower of Horace Henshaw (DOD 11.02.2009). Anna met Horace in Berlin after the end of the second world war.
They were married at St. Martins church in Bilborough on 27th March 1948.
Having spent several years trying to trace any of Anna 's family members, but without success.
Anna and Horace both had a love of Cricket and Lawn Bowls. playing for Boots and later Ruddington bowls club.
They loved travelling and enjoyed trips to Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
Anna and Horace also had a passion for gardening, with there garden being a great source of delight and pleasure all year round for them to enjoy.
A much loved person who will be missed by her family and friends.
Rest in Peace Anna, now united with your loving husband Horace.
