Janet Appleyard (Passed away 9 Jun 2025)

This is for important work....

It is just over 3 months since my sister passed. But I’m still in something of denial about Janet dying. There’s loss and I have grieved - but it’s as if she’s still here - just a call away. It will take a while. We were very close & tuned-in to a good brother/sister sort of vibe, but one which worked... at a distance..but never far away. I miss her very much and knowing she was ‘just there’. Not sure that will ever go away. Thoughts with all her family.

Hi, Husband Bob here.
Earlier today we passed the £1000 mark for the Eve Appeal. That's amazing, so thank you all and everyone for your generous donations. Let's hope that together we can make a difference.
As some of you may know, I've contacted the Eve Appeal directly and will be meeting the head of research programmes in London next Thursday 17th July. The aim is to ensure that your generous donations can be targeted for research so that no one (at some unknown point in the future) has to endure what my dear wife went through.
