With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Roger Arthur Sleet, husband and father, who passed away peacefully on the 19th May 2025, after a long and happy life. He was a truly remarkable person, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The Funeral will take place on Tuesday 1st July at 12:15pm
at Southampton Crematorium - Please wear bright colours to celebrate Roger's wonderful life.

It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with Roger from when the moment he arrived as the first Consultant in A&E until his retirement. He was unconditionally respectful and caring of all patients and work colleagues, and made us all feel that nothing was too much trouble. This is how I remember Rodger when he worked with us in the then A&E. He was always extremely professional, kind, considerate, caring, knowledgeable and friendly.
