In Loving Memory of Mark Raymond Bonner
We are all deeply saddened and shocked by the passing of Mark on the 26th May 2025.
He touched the lives of so many, and the outpouring of love, messages, and shared memories over the past week has been truly overwhelming.
All your kind words and messages continue to bring us great comfort, and we thank you for them.
In accordance with his final wishes, Mark will be buried at St Michael and All Angels Church, Mickleham on Monday, 30th June, where Mark and Zoe’s marriage was blessed exactly eighteen years ago to the day.
Mark meant a great deal to all of us. A fine and generous husband, son, brother, father & uncle. A valued friend, respected colleague and mentor to so many.
On the day, parking spaces will be limited at the church, so car sharing is advisable.
We kindly ask that instead of sending flowers, you consider donating, in Mark’s memory, to St Barnabas House Hospice, Worthing. They receive twenty per cent of their funding from the government, the rest is reliant on donations and various fundraising events. During Mark’s final days, the hospice team provided him with a beautiful, peaceful space, world-class care, compassion and support. We can’t thank them enough for their efforts and their extraordinary work.
Donations can be made at www.stbarnabashospice.org.uk/donate — please quote “Mark Bonner” as your reference.
Again, thank you for your understanding, love, and continued support at this difficult time. Although we may be apart in person, we are all united in our grief and remembrance of Mark.
The dress code will be traditional black, please.
