In Loving Memory of Alyson Cooper
22nd June 1960 – 21st May 2025

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Alyson Cooper, who left us peacefully on the 21st of May 2025, at the age of 64.

Alyson was born on 22nd June 1960 in Taunton, Somerset, and spent most of her life surrounded by the countryside she loved. A lifelong devotee to horses, her passion for animals shaped not only her daily life but also the way she connected so deeply with nature and those around her.

Alyson was a devoted mother to Chloe and George, and a proud, adoring grandmother to her four grandsons: Harry, Oliver, Jack, and Charlie. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.

She will be remembered for her loyalty, her kindness, and her deep affection for the simple, meaningful things in life.

A funeral service to celebrate Alyson’s life will be held on 25th June 2025 at 12pm at St George’s Church, Bicknoller. All who knew and loved her are warmly welcome to attend.

Alyson will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

So very sad to see this . Have lovely memories of “playing pony’s” with Alison.
We use to drive our pony’s around the lanes. Alison was so helpful in helping getting me sorted when we went to driving clubs and shows. RIP lovely lady.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of unforgettable years in my teens in close company with Alyson and her wonderful parents and family. She opened my eyes to country life and the joys of it. I will always be grateful for that and so much more besides.

I went to school and university with Alyson and kept in touch and visited her when I could. She was so bright - and good fun and vibrant at university. You never knew what you were going to get when we got together but she was always interesting. I am proud to have been her friend and will miss her.
