Mark had an infectious character that always made us Wirral Griffs smile. He loved playing with both the girls and boys and called them cousins. He proudly announced that Jackie was his grandma to whomever he met including the team in Maccies or the staff at the Odeon when mum took him.
He loved breaking down bikes and rebuilding them (although the parts were not always back in the right place). He was taken to rugby to watch the boys and was so enthusiastic on the sidelines that the coach got him a pair of boots from lost property to take home. His smile and enthusiasm for the simple things in life made us all thankful for what we have as a family and loved the time he spent with us. RIP Mark
With love, the Wirral Griff’s xx

Totally shocked and saddened to hear of Mark's passing.
Life is sometimes so unfair, and you were taken far too soon.
My memories of you are from age 8/9 when you came to live with "Grandma" Jackie for a while, and from seeing you from time to time until our last meeting around Christmas. You never failed, over the years to bring a smile to my face.
My daughter Nicola and I also lived with you at the time, and although Nic was a few years older than you, became firm friends and got up to all sorts of mischief together, playing board games, doing jigsaws, lining up cars in perfect lines, not forgetting your treasure hunts, and lowering Barbie out of a 3rd floor window on string, before trying to throw over the roof!
When you moved on, it was sad, but we never lost touch, Grandma Jackie having you over for tea on Mondays, and continuing to visit you wherever you were until she died.
Although the wider family continued to see you from time to time, we continued her legacy when she died, and visited when we could, the last time before Christmas when we had a lovely time in Weatherspoons- you had us all laughing and joking, as always.
Your infectious smile, love of life will live on in all the Griffiths family, and all our special memories of you will continue.
We were planning another get together with you, as we heard the terrible news, so sadly it never happened, but I'm sure Grandma Jackie was waiting for you, arms outstretched, with a lovely roast dinner, and the board games set up ready!
RIP lovely Mark, we will miss you ❤️

From being a boy and the Monday evenings spent going on treasure hunts with you for your tea, watching you laugh until you cried trying to fling ‘Bungie Barbie’ over the roof of the house, and playing many a board and card game with, to you becoming a man and the trips to Weatherspoons for your mixed grill, you never failed to make me laugh, Mark. Your zest for enjoying life was infectious. You were taken far too soon, I hope you’re having a good game of monopoly up there with Grandma Jackie ❤️

Rest in peace Mark.
Thank you for all the memories we’ve had on all our adventures over the past 5 years. Such a bubbly character taken far too soon, I will miss our sing songs and our crazy conversations!
I hope you’re sprinkling all your fairy dust up in heaven making them all laugh like you did for us!xx
