Peacefully at home after a short illness bravely borne, Our King, Big Mac, was reunited with his Queen the late Mary on Monday 19th May, aged 81 years.
The devoted dad of Malcolm, Gary and Dianne. A cherished grandad, great-grandad, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, god-father and dear friend to many.
Friends please meet on Monday June 16th for a service in St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Easington Lane at 11:45am. Interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery at 1.00pm.
All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Vic to continue the celebration of Mac’s life.
Everyone is welcome to wear an item of electric blue in tribute to Mac.
Flowers welcome or donations in lieu kindly received for the work of the Stroke Association. A donation box will be available in the church.
