On 11th May 2025, peacefully at her home in Mirfield, aged 69 years, Elaine, very much loved wife of Mick, beloved mum of Helen and Jill and mother in law of Ed, also a dear daughter in law, sister, sister-in-law and auntie.
Funeral service and celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at The Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby, on Wednesday 11th June 2025 at 12.30pm. Followed by refreshments at Dewsbury District Golf Club.
Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of The Kirkwood and The Carers Trust, Mid Yorks.

Elaine brought light and happiness to all who knew her. I hadn't known her for very long, but loved being in her company for her patience, kindness and consideration for all. She made you feel special when chatting with her, and her smile was enough to fill you with positivity and warmth. She will be missed greatly by family and friends

Elaine and I befriended each other as students in Manchester. Although our families haven’t met since we left Cannock, I have always felt close to Elaine. Such was the lasting warmth of her friendship.

We are very disappointed that we are unable to be with you at Elaine's funeral. She was a lovely lady in all respects and we have many happy memories of times spent with all the family, and especially when Elaine was bridesmaid at our wedding and our daughter Helen was bridesmaid at your wedding.
