Peacefully in hospital with loving family by her side on May 12th aged 83 years, Maureen. The devoted wife of the late Jimmy. The adored mam of Jimmy and Christine. A loving mother-in-law to Jill and Colin. The wonderful nana of Stephanie, Amy and Connor James. A much loved great-nana to Alfie James. Also a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunty, and great friend to many. Dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends please meet on Friday June 6th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 11:45am. Committal to follow at Durham Crematorium. All are welcome after the service to continue the celebration of Maureen’s life at Bonnie Pit Lad, Easington Lane.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Maureen are kindly received in lieu for the work of Great North Air Ambulance Service. A donation box will be available in Church.
