In loving memory of Edith Anne 'Anne' Wilkinson who sadly passed away on 7th April 2025

Mum was an inspiration to many. A selfless yet totally focussed women who spent many years aiming to improve herself to help others. Born during WW2 she saw many changes in the world but held true the values she learned as a child: Work hard for what you want, aspire to improve and make your own luck.

She always loved people and loved the company of others. She had many friends spanning the decades who remained close until she no longer knew them.

She enjoyed over 36 years working for Oriflame, a company whose products and ethos she wholeheartedly immersed herself in. In that time she made many true friends and enjoyed a life full of travel, laughs, plenty of G&T and Remy Martin, not to mention experiences that shaped her and those of us around her.

Sadly in 2009 /10 she was diagnosed with Alzheimers, the disease which over time deprived her not only of her social skills but her words and ability to concoct the most uplifting and motivating encouragement. Encouragement that she shared with so many. After 16 years in Cornwall, the place her and Dad loved, they came back to Nottingham so Dad could share the burden of a beloved wife of over 50 years who was rapidly being lost to us all.

Mum passed away peacefully after a long fight, but she was never going to give up easily, she fought to the end, for over 16 years. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and many, many old friends.
