Nigel passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on 6th April 2025, aged 74 years. Husband to Mary, father of Leah and Thomas and grandad to Jacob, Sonny, Wilfred and Ted.

No flowers by request please.

Nigel was a well loved and respected part of the community who has local and national reach.
He was an entertainer, a leader, ,(a policeman). He a kind heart and infectious smile.
Nigel would think nothing of giving up his time to help others.
He was an active member of the Burton Venture trust and was a favourite amongst the thousands of young adventurers in his care.
Dad had love, safety and care at his core and young people's safety become his profession. He has left a hole in our heart but I know he will continue to be our guide and inspiration for as long as we need him.
We love you dad.

Dear Cousin Nigel,
So glad we were able to say hello and goodbye to one another the other week. You have always been a great cousin and I always enjoyed our regular chats over the years when we would share memories of old times when your parents were alive and we were regular visitors to Acton. Sadly not well enough to make the trip this time to the service but you opened your eyes and smiled to me when I talked to you - that said it all.
