You were one of the teachers at BHS school that I smile and think fondly of. I loved my cookery lessons with you and made a mean Victoria sandwage cake at one of my lessons with you. It turned out perfect with your guidance, was so proud to show my mum and dad and siblings, was scrumptious, still my fav cake now. You were so immaculate in your dress and had gorgeous hair, you really was a good teacher. R.I.P dear Mrs Parry. The angels will take care of you now. ❤️💕💕Xxx

Sad news. Mrs Parry was my cookery teacher from 1961-65. She was a great teacher and when I made my first sponge cake and it sank in the middle she said “don’t worry about it, just put some tinned fruit in the middle and have it with custard”! The most I remember was how beautiful and elegant and smartly dressed she was. So unlike teachers of that era. RIP
