Hi Steve. It's been four weeks since you left, and we are all so devastated. We wanted to tell you that we all have our arms around Chloe. We are looking after her for you, and we always will do, please do not worry about this.

We need to tell you Steve, you were everything to us in this world. You were Chloes' dream made real. You filled and still fill her every waking moment. You were her future hopes and dreams. And for now Chloe and none of us can see a world without you, my darling. This world - its much less now. You were the perfect son-in-law, my darling man. Stu and I could not ever have wished for a better man for our darling girl. We know that you will read this. It's important to us that you know.
We love you. We always have and always will. God Bless you xxx

We are sending you all our love forever. Until we meet again, sweetheart, from Karen and Stuart xxxxx

Stevie,

My thoughts are with all your loved ones sincerely. You were one in a million Steve, you loved and cared about your family and friends passionately!

So many great memories I have of us as kids messing around in the close and around Paulsgrove and maybe getting in to trouble one or two times!

Then growing up and going into the military and all good times we had there too! You were more than a man in uniform though Stevie, a man who could and would always tell it as it is and most importantly a man who cared deeply about his family!

I will always remember the good friend that you were and how much you cared.

I know we grew apart later in life but I will never ever forget you and I will hold on the memories we made and all the great laughs we had forever!

Stevie you’re going to be missed so much mate and you will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace

Josh

Steve,

Hard to put into words how much of huge loss you’ll be to so many people. You were a top top bloke loved by so many.

To his family thank you for bringing up such straight up decent bloke, who stood up for what’s right. If the world was full of Steve’s it would be a much better place so good job.

To Chloe thank you for making Steve so happy he adored you. The last time I saw Steve was at yours and his wedding which is how I’ll always remember him. It was the perfect day. Two people clearly In love there for all to see.

To his daughter Maggie he was so proud of you, whenever he talked about he’d always have a smile.

Our thoughts are with you all, please if there’s anything don’t be afraid to reach out as I know Steve would have done the exact same thing for me.

Steve I’ll see you some day my friend, we’ll have a beer and be singing Sweet Caroline together once again x

Pains me to know your not here in person with us but are in spirit.

We've been friends since 11 years old. Year 8 at King Richards were you were new and never had not many friends but we spoke and laughed that day and we never looked back. All through our teenage years enjoying all.the 1st things you do as boys do beers, girls, tattoo's and just stupidity all the way through toy when you followed me into my battalion i told you to join and that's what made you the man you were and you finally found something to get stuck into. We were inseparable my family was yours and yours mine so many happy times together.

I'll do all I can to take care of your beautiful family and I hope we all do you proud. I'll never forget you mate until we meet again.

All my love Stevie boy.

Stevie, you and Chazy were inseparable — so much more than best friends. You were brothers in every way that counts. Growing up, you were the best big brothers anyone could have asked for. Wherever one of you went, the other wasn’t far behind.

Even now, no distance — not even heaven and earth — can truly keep you apart. You’ll always be side by side in memories, in heart, and in the legacy you’ve left behind in all of us.

Rest easy, Stevie. You’ll be missed more than words can say by everyone lucky enough to have known you. I’ll look after Chazy until the two of you are back together again, causing chaos just like always.

Love you forever, mate.
