Roger will always be a true gentleman whose presence was a gift to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, he walked through life with a quiet strength, endless kindness, and a heart of pure gold. An inspirational, devoted, loving husband, father, cousin, friend, his kindness was effortless and his spirit - unforgettable. He always made me feel seen, heard, and valued, no matter how long it had been since we last met. Roger was more than family, he was a friend, he was a safe place. He had the rare gift of making you feel like you belonged, like you had a home simply by being near him. I am truly blessed for having known him all my life and I will carry his memory with me always. Thank you Roger for your inspiring and unending love, heaven is lucky to have you home. Much love to the family at this sad time and always.

Dad, I feel so lucky to be your son, and I already miss you so much. You were a man of dignity and integrity. I'm so glad that we were friends as well as father and son. Our trip to Alaska was one of the times we got to spend quality time together. Ant xx
Dad, had cherished memories of that trip with you Ant. He talked often about it. Especially in recent months/weeks when he reminisced a lot about his life and special memories that meant so much to him. He was very proud of you.
