Thelma you were a unique gorgeous individual, who I had the honour of knowing and being able to call ‘my friend’.You were the person at work that made me laugh until it hurt. The one that showed me what genuine empathy was. The individual that took time to really listen to those in your care, especially when they wanted to share good or sad news or ‘just’ have a conversation..
You made the time at St Cuthbers so much more than just a job, not just for me but for so many.
