Sweet Dreams Mama.
It will be hard to say goodbye to you tomorrow, but I will cherish all the memories with you and Dada for eternity.
We have so many wonderful memories together, whether it’s holidays in the sun or sitting by the canal in the summer sipping wine and sharing updates on life, whilst Dada panics because we managed to tap our card before he got his wallet of cash out to pay.
I’ll cherish the memories of us pottering round to your house when we were younger, filling our bellies with bourbon biscuits and mint choc chip ice cream for breakfast and off to the pub in the evening to meet Tammy the cavvie and your friends. Sharing birthday weekends and spending Dada’s money on toys we probably didn’t need but you wanted us to have.
Waving at you arriving into town on the Pronto or waving goodbye when you both returned home after a day of fun. Arriving at your house with bottles of Prosecco and lying in your gorgeous garden whilst we reminisce on the good times and asking you for advise on life or even just a tip on how to remove a stain from the furniture or clothing and you coming out with the randomest solutions but they always worked.
I hope we managed to take care of you the last few years like Dada would have wanted. I know you were so lonely without him and you’re probably happier now then ever but it’s so hard not have you here, even just to send a pointless text to share a new show I found which you could binge!
I will miss your sarcasm, your whit, your stern looks or your “Siobhan!”, but I hope more than anything you managed to find Dada and you got your dance.
Gosh I miss you so much and I’m still so confused.
Sweet dreams Mama, I love you ❤️
