I write this message on the very day of Harry’s Funeral and must begin with an apology as I shall not be in attendance. I would like to think that H may appreciate the irony of the fact I am away in Glasgow participating in a football tournament. The very sport that brought us into that initial contact, creating jointly & several memories over numerous decades. Extremely sad we shall no longer be wishing each other happy birthday within 2 days of mine, but rest assured my friend I shall be thinking of you on all remaining 10th and 12th Septembers that follow. Similarly today, April 10 ❤️🌹

Harry. I first met you when we played football together. It didn’t take me long to realise that you was not only a very good footballer but also an exceptional person. Every time we met you were always happy to see me, as I was you and no matter how long we hadn’t seen each other you were exactly the same. I had the privilege of calling you my friend and I for one am glad you graced my life. Harry you were always a giver and over the years you had people taking from you, but I don’t think they realised they were taking the wrong thing. You gave me the most precious thing you had which was your friendship. Thanks for letting me be part of your life and I hope you find the peace you deserve mate.
