I CAME TO VISIT MUM THE DAY YOU WERE DUE, WITH MY SON PERRY.AS WAS NORMALL, ON A TUESDAY. BUT WHEN I SAW THE MIDWIFE WAS THERE, CHANGED MY MIND AND JUST CALLED UP FROM THE FRONT DOOR TO SAY, HI AND I WOULD SEE HER LATER.SHE SAID ALL THOSE BABY BOOKS WHERE WRITTEN BY MEN. HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES, WITH MUM, DAD, YOU AND SIMOM. WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK OVER THOSE YEARS BUT LIFE GOES ON. WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES.

Such a warm and gentle man who features in many of my childhood memories and who acted as a second parent to me during one of the worst times of my life. I will be forever grateful for his kindness (and for pretending not to notice I was only pretending to be asleep so I could sleep over). You will be missed tremendously 💛
