Steve 'Salty' Salt (26 Jun 1956 - 17 Jan 2025)

Our thoughts go out to Steve’s family at this sad time. Steve worked at Able for 16years as a polisher then in later years qualified as an NDT inspector. He was highly regarded by all and a great man both in and out of work. He will be sadly missed. RIP

Is there a wake for Steve?

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. A great workmate and friend. I used to pop down the Plough and have a pint with him occasionally. RIP mate. Top guy !

I worked with Steve for 8 years, always a pleasure, he will be sadly missed by all those that knew him, R.I.P.

So shocked to hear of Steve's passing worked with him for many years at Able many a good time loads of laughs you will be sadly missed .
