In loving memory of David John Farrell who unexpectedly passed away on 18th January 2025 aged 78 years old.
Everyone is warmly welcome to attend David's funeral at St Nicholas' Church, Bawtry, on Monday the 24th February 2025 at 12 noon, followed by a burial at Bawtry Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of floral tributes can be made to Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity, a donation box will also be present in church.

Dad, thank you for being there for me when I didn’t deserve it. You’ve being a rock to me and Thomas for so many years. You’ve being a father figure for Thomas and the bond you both had was both beautiful and inspiring.
I miss the nights talking around the table and completing the daily crossword with mum.
When you went you left a massive hole in our hearts. I feel privileged for those times we went out and you always said you wished you’d done that with grandad. Now you can Dad.
I’ll make sure Thomas is still doing his best at school to make you proud. Even though you were already proud of us all.
I miss my daily hug from you but one day I will hug you again.
You made so many people happy, (even though you were grumpy) so many friends and people around you that loved you for being you. You will be missed by so many but I value the time that I had with you.
Thank you for popping into my dreams at night, they’re comforting.
Dad, I will always love you, may you rest in peace and thank you for the privilege of having you as my Dad.

You're up there with my Dad now, I hope they're prepared for you both being back together. There was hardly a day passed that we didn't talk about one thing or another. You were so supportive when we lost my Dad, your brother, in 2023. I'll miss your jokes, texts and phone calls. I love you Uncle David, Good Night God Bless xxx
