In loving memory of Jean Lottie Nichols who passed away peacefully in her sleep on 19th December 2024 - just eight days shy of her 88th Birthday.

Jean was a devoted daughter and sister, a loving wife, mum, auntie, grandma and great-grandma. Cherished by her much loved family and many friends, she will now be held in our hearts forever and very much missed.

Hopefully reunited at last with her beloved husband Nick and parents Lottie and Tom.

Guests attending the funeral are invited to wear mauve or lilac items of clothing - a nod to Jean's favourite colour.

Following the church service there will be a private committal while guests are invited to make their way to the Wake.

This will be held in The Halo Lounge at St Mary's Stadium, Belvidere Road, Southampton, SO14 5FP. Please head to Reception where you will be directed to the lounge.

Guests can park at St Mary's Stadium ahead of the church service and walk to the church - it's around a 15 minute walk. Please go to the car park on the shop side of the stadium (Belvidere Road) and request access at the barrier.

Alternatively we have reserved spaces within the church grounds for anyone who might need to park closer. Turn into the church walls and go through the barrier on the left hand side of the church. These parking spaces will be available from 1000.

Family flowers only please. Donations in Jean's memory to Alzheimer's Society or The British Heart Foundation would be gratefully received and can be made by clicking the links at the top of this page.

Thank you so much for all your generous donations, brilliant support and kind words xx

Our Memories of you Jeanie.

Your wonderful smile and sense of humour will never be forgotten by us. Your life was full of Fun Laughter and Adventures, you did it all, as you always said "You Only Live Once".

Lasting memories of me, Mike and Alan waving to you across St Marys Stadium on Match days, and the perfect place for your wake to say goodbye to a very Wonderful Lady and a fellow Football Fan.

WPJS what can I say except it was a pleasure to work with you, listening to all your stories of growing up during the war, Mum and Dad, heart ache of the loss of your beloved Nick so early but despite all of this you picked yourself up dusted yourself off and off you went to lead a Wonderful Adventurous life, which is what they all would have wanted for you, you were one strong Woman.

The 3 Amigos we were, poor Martyn never stood a chance with our practical jokes, Oh how laughed and laughed when we all worked together, united in friendship. Listening to stories and sayings from other schools you worked at but the best has to be Bugger Bitch still chuckle at it now.

Jean to have Known, Worked, Chatted, Danced, Massaged your Shoulders Joked BUT most of all Laughed with you was an absolute Pleasure and Honour and I would do it all again if I could.

Fly High Jeanie to meet your beloved Nick.

Our thoughts and Condolences go out to her family at the sad loss of such a Wonderful Lady.

Rest peaceful love Pauline & Mike xxxx

Many happy memories of Auntie Jean who will be dearly missed. Thankyou for taking to your grave the day you had to come round and unblock mum and dads sink when they were on holiday cos I’d had a party and also spending your New Year’s Eve getting the nits out of my hair in front of the TV 😂
I hope wherever you are, you’re having a brilliant time surrounded with the people who loved you, drinking endless cups of very strong tea, listening to Barbara Streisand and Luther Vandross.
Finn will never forget your long fingernails and I’ll never forget you. Becky ❤️ xxx
