Dearest Druce
Thank you for being a wonderful family friend to us all for all those years.
I hope your laugh says with me forever, and I'll never forget those amazing after eight gateau's you used to make for us.
Rest in peace Druce, reunited with Pete and all your friends, you'll be so missed for your love and kindness.

Some of my most cherished memories of you are the times driving up by your house unannounced and you’d look up from your crossword so surprised and happily start waving. And then we’d do it all again when leaving with the addition of your ever chirpy “bye de bye”

Bye de bye dearest Dru, you were one of a kind and will be so very missed xx

  • Nana Dru you were definitely one of a kind! Every moment spent with you was full of very important life lessons such as how to whistle with your fingers, how to burp the alphabet and how to get your grand children to clear out your cupboards by pretending it was a game. You taught me not to take life to seriously and how laughing was a better cure than crying. Hard working, tough as nails with a soft heart. You would do anything for anyone and had more uses than a Swiss Army knife. Built for doing not sitting! you were definitely the person that I most wanted to be like when I grow up. I will miss you everyday and feel so lucky to have so many hilarious stories and memories to draw on to keep the sadness in check and your childlike energy and humour alive. ❤️🪽
