In loving memory of Michael Richard Goreham who sadly passed away on 11th January 2025
Dad was born in Norwich on 13th May 1948 to Hilda Rose Goreham, he went to Blyth Jex school Norwich.
In 1966 he joined the RAF, to see the world, travelling to Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Aiden. During this time he gained his driving licence without even taking a test just driving senior officers over 500 miles and back and he moved rank to Senior Aircraftman.
In his spare time in Hong Kong he played football and in Singapore learnt how to dive. He was medically discharged in 1970. He was so proud of time he spent in the RAF and was forever talking about it.
Dad had various jobs after leaving RAF, starting with working for East office Equipment, where he met Diane my mum in 1973 they dated for a while and married in 1975 and I (Robert ) was born in November 1975.
Sadly they parted in 1985, in 1990 Hilda dad's mum sadly passed away.
Dad had two brothers David and Eric and a sister called Shelia, both brothers sadly passed away and sister living in Cambridge.
Dad remarried and started a gardening business and in October 1992 he had a daughter Nyssa.
In 2002 he was proud that I had met Sue who he adored, and thought the world of. In 2005 our first son Joshua and his first grandchild was born. In 2006 sadly we lost Dad's first granddaughter Jessica to stillbirth. In 2007 myself and Sue married and dad was present and so proud. In 2008 Ethan was born and made dad a grandad for the third time.
In 2009 Nyssas first child Zak and dads fourth grandchild was born.
In 2011 Nyssa married Tyler and in 2014 they had a daughter Amelia , followed by Ronan in 2016, dad was a great grandad to all of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Dad loved a holiday visiting Scotland, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Wales and Lake District.
He had few hobbies including his gardening and his garden which he was so proud off.
Loved to create his model railway with me and spent many Tuesdays working on it for a bit before going to the pub.
He even tried a bit of urban exploring with us visiting many old and historic buildings and being a little rebal.
He loved going to the pub for his pride and joy a pint of thick and creamy Guinness.
Dad was such a loving, kind and generous person with a heart of gold, he was always there when people needed him and would help out when ever he could.
He will sadly missed by all his family and all his friends that he met along his life time...
