What a character Rochester has lost - an energetic, knowledgable and compassionate person with very strong views on life, the universe and everything. Sharon was never dull and has been missed so much already. Sending our condolences to her family and close friends.

Sincere condolences to Sharon’s family on behalf of Danny, Kathleen, Emma and Rachael [Dublin]. Sharon was always so friendly when we visited Rochester over many many years and it’s very sad to learn of her passing. A kind and very funny lady. Rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to Sharon’s family. Sharon was a presence in our lives from 1996 when The Stewart family moved to Rochester. She was kindhearted and generous to us all. She was at all our family events and she hosted us countless times. Sharon loved cooking and entertaining: funny, irreverent, unconventional and often anti-establishment in her views there was never a dull moment in her company. We will miss her greatly.

A long standing friend who will be much missed by both of us.

I will never forget our walks which took twice as long as normal because so many people stopped to chat.

I knew Sharon professionally as Sharon Cavanagh and although I had not seen her since she retired I remember her dedication to her cases and how hard she worked for children and families.
It was always a pleasure to hear from her with her upbeat and determined attitude and always good to spend time with her.
My sincere condolences go to her family.
