Elaine will always hold a place in my heart. Her zest for life and adventure were such an inspiration. There were no strangers to Elaine. She welcomed me from our first meeting. She knew more about American politics than any of us Americans did! I'll never forget the night Obama was elected and we celebrated in Malawi. We will miss her wonderful presence.
