And I will light a candle for you.
To shatter all the darkness and bless the times we knew.
Like a beacon in the night
The flame will burn bright and guide us on our way.
Oh, today I light a candle for you.
The seasons come and go, and I’m weary from the change.
I keep on moving on, you know it’s not the same.
And when I’m walking all alone
Do you hear me call your name?
Do your hear me sing the songs we used to sing?
You filled my life with wonder, touched me with surprise,
Always saw that something special deep within your eyes.
And through the good times and the bad,
We carried on with pride.
I hold onto the love and life we knew.
And I will light a candle for you.
To shatter all the darkness and bless the times we knew.
Like a beacon in the night
The flame will burn bright and guide us on our way.
Oh, today I light a candle for you.

My friend..

I know you will never read this, but I want you to know how much you meant to me. Not only were you the best boss, we ended up being very close friends.

One of my fondest memories is the day we first met at my interview & your grumbling tummy lol

You were a true inspiration to many, you touched many lives especially mine! I will always remember you and hold a special place in my heart, I am so grateful you were apart of my life however short, you are and always will be a very special lady.

I miss you so much!

Rest in peace x

My beautiful friend, mentor and occasional saviour, Lianne. Funny, strong, inspirational and ever so slightly (ha!) naughty... You have had such a profound and positive effect on my life and I will always be grateful to have known and loved you. I miss you like crazy.

Rest in peace, Lianne, forever in my heart.
