Dear Richard. Rest in Peace x I knew you about 35 yrs and during that time we had some laughs and your family made me welcome from the start especially your dear mum Alice, she always had time for a chat with a cuppa. Your Sister Silvia sadly passed the same day my eldest niece was born and I’ll always remember you never forgot when her birthday was. I saw you on the Sunday before you passed away, and to my surprise still cracking the jokes with the nurses !! You Rest in Peace mate xx

I'm so sad that I wasn't allowed to communicate with family much. I'll never forget the several hours we spent on Messenger video call back in 2012. You made me laugh so much i realised i had almost forgotten how. Afterward the ban on my contacting family began, because regular contact would have made me so happy. It's only been this last month Uncle that I've realised there's nobody to stop me now because I'm free. I find it ironic that I realised that after you died. But I have family in Kerry now and I thank you and Uncle Gerald so much for that! I can't wait to bring Eric to visit since I realised that I can ❤️

Uncle Richard, two weeks today I got the call that I was dreading. Myself and mark had been up to see you and you was on top form, chatting and making jokes. Thank you for all you done for me over the years, we may not of been blood related but you never once treated me any different from the others. Thank you for getting me interested in ww1 and 2 again, I’ll miss listening to all the information you had on them. Love you uncle Rich. RIP

  • I'll miss Rich. He was the one to encourage me in the new Technolgy and to talk to him every week via Facebook, so we kept in touch. He also helped me with the computer, I would not have bothered had it not been for him. I'd booked a trip to visit in 2020, but we had covid, then just recently but, he passed before I could get there. I am sorry not to have got there but, I did see him via Facebook a couple of times. Kerry told me he was joking and saying inappropriate things about the nurse's example The mini-Guinses
