In loving memory of Audley Lois Clarke who sadly passed away on 28th June 2024.
Audrey loved children, she worked for three different families as a nanny before having three children of her own. She very much enjoyed seeing all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The little one’s always bringing a smile to her face. It was her wish that if any donations were made, the money would go to a local children's hospice. Audrey requested family flowers only.
Remembering Audrey, we exchanged so many Christmas cards over the years. Occasionally we would see each other if she was visiting Chapel Wood. Without her I wouldn't have her daughter as such a wonderful friend. She lives on, in her children and grandchildren.

I first met Audrey in 1965 when she married my brother Pat. We had some good holidays together and spent many a Christmas at one or other’s house. She was a good wife and mother and I am proud to have known her.💐💐

I felt so privileged to have cared for Audrey. What a character she was. We shared laughter and tears and most of all I loved the stories of her life she shared with me (mostly when she was having a bath !) she was so talented with her knitting and cooking and had the extraordinary ability to know exactly where any item was in her cottage. I used to say, if anyone could find a needle in a haystack it would be you. God bless Audrey. Xxx
