Valerie Quinn (3 Dec 1942 - 5 May 2024)

In loving memory of our mother Valerie Quinn who sadly passed away on 5th May 2024.

Mum was a much loved person as we have seen from the amount of love and messages the family has received already. Her family and her friends were incredibly important to her - especially as she was an only child, so many of you know you were like the sisters/brothers she never had.

After caring for our father for many years with his Parkinson's Disease, and who sadly passed away in 2014 mum still missed him desperately.

Despite the hardships she had faced over the last few year she was a vivacious and bubbly person who loved to laugh, and still felt at the age of 80 there was much to do! Places to go, plants to grow, dogs to walk, family to see, music to hear...! Occasionally there was even still hair to cut (once a hairdresser....) She was young at heart and always looked on the bright side of life if at all possible.

Kind, caring, generous and fair, it is a sadder world without her in it, but we are blessed to have known and loved her for as long as we did. We gain comfort in knowing she and our father are reunited, along with her own beloved mother and father.
