R.I.P grandad 💙 will miss you so much I will cherish my memories of our chats and seeing you, you will always be in my heart forever ♥️

I first met Wally at the fishing lake 10 yrs ok, everybody knew him as the 'sausage' bcos that's what bait he used. I shared a cup of with him on the bank side and we chatted for hours, I left the lake thinking what a lovely and genuine man he was. After a few meetings we became firm friends, he would always save the swim next to his as he know I wouldn't get there at 6am in the morning. Outside of fishing we would take turns phoning each other either with a problem or just a chat abt how we would put the world to rights. I'll always remember him with his catchphrase when he caught a fish...."that's a double boy"....it wasn't but fishermen are well known for exaggerated size of fish.
Going to miss you mate you were a great friend to have....the next "double" I catch I'll name it Wally.
R.I.P peace and may you catch your dream wherever you are.

God bless uncle Wally couldn't have wished for a better uncle. Fishing trips staying over with you and Aunt Jess and trips down the Strand. These memories are priceless. I'll miss uncle Wally xx
