'Bye my darling sister. We hv been through a lot together. During the war I would worry about you and Mum being safe and alive whilst I was at school. Then we both had boyfriends and Dad's strict time-keeping methods! The best were our holidays at Hullbridge and leaning out of our bedroom window to pick greengages, followed by midnight feasts. Remember us arguing over who was going to push Ronnie's pram and we both tipped him out - good job all his covers fell out first! Then you eventually became dear Stan's beautiful bride and had your 3 beautiful girls. Sadly, we both suffered different forms of cancer, but we still carried on and had some good times on special occasions. Although you suffered the most darling, you always smiled and accepted your life and always cared about others. In our later lives due to different living locations and our bad health, we never saw each other as much as we should have, always assuming the other would forever be there. Now you've gone, there is a big empty space in our family and you'll be missed so very much. However, Darling I am truly so very thankful you are not suffering that dreadful pain anymore and are now at peace. My ultimate wish for you would be that you are now with your beloved Stan and our Mum and Dad and that their love will envelop you the way our love did, and always will, whilst here on earth. Rest in peace my darling sister.

There are so many memories we have of you Auntie Val, and although, sadly, we cannot share them all on here, they are ingrained into our hearts and minds forever. We love you and will miss you just doesn’t seem to cut it, as they are words which cannot express our true feelings and emotions. So all we can say is we hope you are at peace now, and dancing to Some Girls Do and Don’t mess with my Tut Tut, with the legendary uncle Stan. ❤️
