George made many friends in Chatham Dockyard Historical Society (CDHS) right from the early days of the Lead and Paint Mill museum. Along with his wife Iris they made their mark in running the museum. The CDHS Fellowship has made a donation in George's memory to the Medway Queen.
George it was an honour to meet you and to read your wonderful stories of your life growing up. May you rest in peace you lived a life to the full a gentleman and a friend goodnight God bless to a wonderful soul. Xx
