In loving memory of Professor Derek Gwynne Ford who sadly passed away on 5th April 2024.
On 5th April 2024, peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Derek aged 84 years of Honley and formerly of Griffithstown, Pontypool. Dearly loved husband of the late Pamela, deeply loved dad of Nigel, Paul and Allison, proud and devoted grandad of Helen, Jacob, David, Jamie and Holly and former Emeritus Professor of Precision Engineering, University of Huddersfield.
Funeral service at St Lucius Church, Farnley Tyas on Wednesday 1st May at 1.30pm followed by a private committal. Family flowers only please. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Church.
