In loving memory of Lester Grundy who sadly passed away on 27th March 2024.
Lester - Dad, Grandad, Uncle Lester, Great Grandad - was a keen gardener, a carpenter and joiner by trade who devoted his life to his wife of 64 years, Eileen - known as 'Bunty' and his family - Karen, Paul, Judith and Jonathan. He worked long hours to support us and even more to create the perfect family home. Throughout his life, his faith remained strong and he was a guide and encouragement to us. His last breath spoke Mum's name and now they are together again.

Lester was a real gentleman, always polite and helpful and a joy to chat to. I spent many Sunday mornings sat behind him and Bunty in the pews of Holy Saviour, and Monday mornings with Lester working in the churchyard. Loved ones reunited
