In loving memory of Alan Barsby, widower, father, grandfather and great grandfather who sadly passed away on 20th March 2024.
He was an amazing character and will be greatly missed. Always happy to help, nothing was ever too much trouble, no obstacle to hard to overcome. Being a builder by trade, that was also his passion and his hobby, and gained him many life long friends.
His grandkids brought him great joy, he was always ready to splash about in the pool with them and loved being with them on holiday.
He will be greatly missed. Repeatedly the words, incredible, amazing and lovely have been said by those that knew him.
All that wish to attend his funeral are welcome.
It will be on 18th April 2024, 3pm at Southend crematorium.

You were a very well loved neighbour who will be sorely missed! Mum and I miss the chats over the fence with you and the dogs certainly miss the attention you gave them. Rest In Peace Alan, thinking of you and the whole family x

Where does one start? Alan was my neighbour and friend for many years. An incredibly proud ,kind, caring man who was always there to lend a helping hand not just to me but anyone who required assistance. Having worked alongside Alan in his latter years I was always amazed and inspired by his passion and enthusiasm for anything regarding building projects to the point he was still fixing or repairing something way into his 80s. Well it’s time to say goodbye Al. You’ll be missed but never forgotten. RIP
