I met Tina in 1970 in Durban South Africa - we taught at a school almost on the beachfront. We hit it off straight away and became firm friends. I’ve treasured our friendship of 54 years and will sorely miss our long phone chats, meeting up in London or Wimbledon and occasional long weekends in Leigh. I can hardly believe we won’t chat on the phone anymore and I shall miss the perfectly written Christmas cards from Tina. Such a kind, generous and loyal friend to me. I’ll treasure the memories and miss you always dear Tina. Bill, Dominic and Becky, you remain in my thoughts and prayers. I’m so pleased I met your baby Chloe yesterday ❤️

We have happy memories of Tina over the years when we have been back in the UK or a couple of times in Spain. She was always smiling and kind and we are so sad to hear the news. Our thoughts are with Bill, Domenic, Becky and family. We shall join you virtually tomorrow. Thinking of you all xx

To the memory of dear Tina, who originally joined my HR team at Dorling Kindersley, as Acting Training Manager, covering a maternity leave. Tina quickly became indispensable and remained with DK for several years afterwards, sharing her wisdom and good humour with everyone who knew her. Her good guidance and understanding was something we greatly valued and Tina became an integral part of the company. Following on we remained good friends and met up frequently for lunch and many laughs about the good old days! I shall greatly miss her beautifully written cards and good wishes. My heartfelt condolences to Bill, Becky and Dominic for whom the loss of dear Tina is immeasurable. Sadly cannot be with you tomorrow but will stream in at 1.00 pm. My thoughts are with you all. Dot
