Thank you for being such a special aunt.
I shall really miss our regular Thursday morning phone calls and catching up with each others news.

Janet was known to our family through many years. She met my sister Patricia Mead,nee Elliott, when they were both 11,and became pupils at Rainham secondary school in Orchard Street. She was a very valued friend and I know she will be very missed. I would see her at the Wigmore library lectures,a few years ago now ,and she would insist on giving me a lift home,although it was only a short walk. She was worried about me walking alone in the dark. More recently,we would sometimes see each other at St.Matthews Church,which I know she attended for many years. So on hearing of her passing I lit a candle in the church,which I think she would have appreciated.
