In loving memory of John Edward Tippins who sadly passed away on 22nd March 2024 aged 82 years.
Floral tributes may be sent c/o John Weir Funeral Directors, 130-132 High Street, Rainham, Kent, ME8 8AR by 08.30 am on Thursday 2nd May 2024.
The family will be using Wigmore Florists locally as they did such a beautiful tribute for dad at his partner’s June Ring’s funeral 3 years ago. Dad missed June very much after she passed away, they enjoyed their time together and their holidays in the UK.

Or if you would prefer donations may be made in memory of John online via this website for Age UK Medway. This charity helped dad on occasions in his later life when he had retired, their staff were brilliant.
The funeral will take place at 11am at Medway Crematorium, Robin Hood Lane, Blue Bell Hill, Chatham, ME5 9NQ.
A Wake has been organised to take place afterward’s at dad’s favourite local pub the Spyglass & Kettle, 2 Woodside, Rainham, Gillingham, Kent, ME8 0PG
Georgina Tippins, John’s daughter, would like to hear from people if they are attending.
Dad leaves his 3 children, Antony Tippins, Georgina Tippins and Caroline Webster.

John is second from the right with three classmates from Gillingham Technical School. The photo was taken in 1955 on a school trip to Lunteren Holland.

This photo captures John very well. He was a great friend from1952 until his passing on Good Friday this year. He was an intelligent and generous hearted man and in later life a great raconteur.We sat together at Gillingham Technical School for four years and grew towards becoming an adult together. He will be very much missed by me.
